Professionals in the food science industry and students from Fresno State have been invited to get together for a day in March to share interests, ideas and resumes.

The event, to be at California State University, Fresno, is the IFT Valley Showcase/Career Gala. It will be held March 13 in the campus residence dining hall.

The gala will bring food science professionals together with each other and with potential new recruits into the industry. Exhibits and information are slated to be shared.

Supporting organizations include CATI's Center for Food Science and Nutrition Research. For more information, contact the center at (559) 278-5924.
