Faculty/Staff Researchers Conducting Independent Study Projects


Dianne K. Dickerson is a professor in the Department of Child, Family and Consumer Sciences and serves as graduate coordinator for the department. She is director of the Clinic Program, which operates under the university's School of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. Expertise: Textile performance; naturally colored cotton fabrics.

photo Arthur J. Olney is a professor in the Department of Plant Science. He received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University, and has been teaching for more than 26 years. He is an ornamental horticulturist, an expert on the plant nursery industry, and a specialist on ornamental trees. Dr. Olney manages Fresno State's Ornamental Horticulture Unit, where undergraduate and graduate students conduct research on plant propagation, including the latest tissue culture techniques.
